It's a Golden Life

We had a very exciting weekend! Malachi turned one on Thursday!! Happy Birthday to my sweet little boy!! He had a dinosaur cake (made with cupcakes) complete with a volcano-that's what the red and white part is :) He even had his own little cake the size of a muffin, and loved the icing. He ate every bit of icing off his cake. We celebrated his birthday on Sunday and invited some close friends (Rodney and Shawna's parents and Sister) over for some cake. Malachi really didn't know what all to think about this singing and doting on him all day...more than usual. He blew out his candle! He happened to cough right when we were finished singing Happy Birthday to him. I will attempt to post the video...but it is 5 mintues long! So we will see how that goes. Donovan has his firefighting tests tomorrow. He also went in today to fill out paperwork for YouthBridge (an organization that helps troubled teens). Malachi is walking!! He is walking around all over the place. This video makes him seem angry because we are making him walk for the sake of recording!!
