It's a Golden Life

Malachi isn't the only one getting big!! Diezel is definately huge!! He's already over a year old! Here's the newest addition to our family-He is a Tokay Gecko, named Gex, and he's mean, mean, mean! But he's pretty to look at! Malachi loves feeding himself! His favorite is still oranges, but he likes chicken nuggets, applesause, graham crackers, cherrios, and any other food like that you can imagine-except Mangoes... Daddy thought it would be fun for him to take a bath in the sink-so that's what he did!

Malachi is beginning to cruise on anything he can stand up on!! Here's the event unfolding! This chair is nice and tasty This past weekend we were traveling through Oklahoma and ran into a bit of a pickle. As we were driving this funnel cloud was becoming very active. Donovan said, "Don't worry, there's no rain"-then it started to pour! Then he said-"Oh, don't worry, there's no hail"-then it hailed, so badly that we couldn't see!! But he kept driving and we missed it somehow...We drove through a little town by the Neosho river and a tornado had just gone through, there was so much hail on the ground that it looked like snow!! The river was also all the way up to the road, on both sides! Malachi likes to help me fold, and unfold laundry. His favorite part is the socks!!

Malachi loves to stand up on anything he can get a hold of! Here's some pics of him standing up in his pack n play. He is also very good buddies with his three friends, Rocky, Bug and Rufus. Bug and Rocky had a little minor surgery to become girls, so they look like space aliens with their Elizabethan collars on!!

Good grief, I never thought we would get the internet back-or that we would get another camera. Well, sorry it's been so long, but we had a few delays-First of all, my new camera that I got for my birthday was somehow lost or stolen, and second of all, we just got the internet back from moving. The move went as wonderful as a move could go. It rained on us and we dodged a few tornados, but in all, everything turned out great. Since moving we have been painting, unpacking, exploring beautiful Arkansas and spending time with each other. There are so many things to do here! If you are an outdoors person, then Arkansas is definately the place for you!! There are tons of lakes, rivers, hiking paths, and places to go kiyaking! There is also a fair share of shopping places and malls everywhere-like within 5 minutes of our house! That is something so new to us because we haven't lived that close to civilization, with the exception of a walmart, in years...like 10 years!! Malachi is lov...

When Tori and Davis were here we went hiking by the Hartman's house. It was really fun. Malachi loves being outside, especially hiking. He always falls asleep in his carrier. In other news, Donovan sold the car and bought a Suzuki Samurai! He is very excited! Bug is growing! We're not sure how big he will be yet! Well, It's been a very long month. Between working, school, projects, visiting family and packing I have had no time to load pictures or post. The only time I got to load some pictures, they didn't load correctly!! So, no pictures until now! More are to come. I still have pictures from April. I can't believe we are moving in only one short month. I can't wait until we are graduated and moved. I also can't wait to see family here. It's been two years (since our wedding) that my side of the family was in town. Malachi is sitting up all by himself now! He loves to sit and play with his toys. I have two beautiful blue eyed boys in my family!! His attempt at a kiss...watch out girls... He is trying so hard to crawl, but he only goes in circles! Malachi tried to feed himself his favorite food....Carrots!!! I think he got more on his bib, on his face and in his hair than in his tummy!! Who is that handsome baby looking at me, I think I'll eat him...
