6 months old

Huxley is 6 months old today! 

-around 17lbs and 27 inches. Official 6 month check up is on May 18th. 

-sitting up and trying to crawl. Learned to sit by yourself in the bath and love to splash splash!

-loves food-especially vegetables (peas, squash, sweet potatoes, and green beans!)

-ate a banana in the mesh teething pouch. 

-discovered an opinion. If someone takes something from you and you aren't finished playing with it (aka-putting it in your mouth), you have a certain annoyed cry. 

-very social! Love to talk and smile at anyone who will look into your blue eyes. 

-you enjoy chewing on your feet whenever you can grab a hold of them. 

-you love being outside! Grass is your salad. 

-if one of your siblings is close enough, you take pleasure in grabbing a huge fistful of their hair. You usually have a big smile on your face when you do. 

-you had a double ear infection again this month! You have an appointment with the ear, nose, and throat doctor on 6/27. Since this is your second one already, we are thinking you'll be on the same route as Paxton and need tubes. You also had a virus that made you super cranky and have a temp up to 104 degrees! Poor thing. You broke out in a rash from head to toe once the virus got out of your system! 

You try to chew on the spoon and think you need to hold one while you're being fed. 

Spinning around and getting those knees up there. You can move backwards by pushing your chest up. 

Hangs with one of your best buddies-Coco (Cordelia).

Big boy! After mommy searched for a bath seat for you, you decided you would rather sit by yourself. 

Yum! 

A whole half of a year. Even though you don't sleep through the night yet, and mommy is super tired-every time I see your smile, I don't remember how tired I am. You are a joy and so precious. What an honor to be your momma!! Keep practicing your M-a-m-a sounds because it's music to my ears!
